From the pictures this may look like just a Geo Metro with a rough paint job, but the license plate tells it all. The econobox has been styled by the handyman’s best friend, duct tape.
This may look like a cheap fix, but the retail value of the duct tape needed to complete this car could have easily bought a decent paint job at Maaco. Even after dismissing any of the “why” questions about this car, there are plenty of answers we’d like to get from this owner, including how did you find pink duct tape? Or does a Metro really need a racing stripe?
But instead of criticizing we want to praise this owner. He or she (we’re betting she by the color) has given some zest to what is one of the most uninteresting cars to ever hit the American roads.
